Deep Rest - Restorative Yoga
in Herefordshire
A deeply restful practice for anyone who needs to slow down for a while, ground and rest
If life has been feeling relentless and your body is crying out for rest, this is a place to come.
Restorative yoga is a deeply nourishing practice that asks very little of you except to show up. No experience needed, no flexibility required and no keeping up.
What is restorative yoga?
Restorative yoga is a slow, gentle style of yoga that focuses on deep relaxation and giving your nervous system the opportunity to rest and reset.
The body is fully supported in comfortable postures, held for several minutes at a time. When the nervous system feels safe and supported, the body can begin to let go of tension, soften and release the weight it's been carrying.
With no need to stretch further, push harder or achieve anything, there is space for the mind to become quieter and the body to begin to unwind.
We gently shift from the pace of everyday life into the spaciousness of rest and letting go for a while.

What To Expect
These gentle restorative yoga afternoons last 90 minutes and are suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners.
We'll start with a little gentle movement to help us prepare to settle into restful shapes, breath awareness and deep relaxation. Bolsters, blocks and blankets help support your body, with plenty of options to make yourself comfortable.
You can simply arrive as you are and take the time you need.
Why Restorative Yoga?
Sometimes we need a dedicated space to step away from the busyness of everyday life and give ourselves time to rest.
Restorative yoga offers that space. A chance to ground yourself and settle into a steadier rhythm beneath the demands of everyday life.
You may find it helps you to:
Feel calmer, more grounded and centred.
Relieve stress and find a greater sense of balance.
Settle anxiety and restlessness.
Support better sleep.
Leave feeling deeply rested and recharged.
Most of all, it's an opportunity to stop doing for a while and simply be.
Give yourself permission to rest
Prioritising rest isn't a luxury, or something that needs to be earned. It's part of looking after ourselves, helping us meet life with a little more ease, energy and presence.
If you're feeling like you need some time to slow down, soften and reset, restorative yoga is an invitation to take 90 minutes for yourself.
Because not everything needs your effort right now.
“Like a leaf falling from a tree, she let go. There was no effort. There was no struggle.”
